Olivia was preceded in death by her husband; Fred A. Schmid, her son; Edwin "Pete" Schmid, her parents; Joseph and Rosa, nee Reeb, Muckensturm, sisters; Angie Wittenhauer, Marie Trotterer, Sister Roseanne Muckensturm and Sister Valedia Muckensturm, and her brother: Anthony "Tony" Muckensturm. She is survived by her children; Fred A. (Donna) Schmid III, Rose O. (Chuck) Pochek, Walter J. (Barbara) Schmid, Alice M. (David) Lamastus and Raymond C. Schmid Sr., 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, sisters; Rosella "Rose" Lauzon and Sister Salesia Muckensturm, sisters-in-law; Stella Schmid and Dorothy "Dottie" Pugh. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Olivia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, IL., and the Women's Club at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
