Della was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Edwin Francis Kolb, her parents: Prosper C. and Della, nee Soucy, Kolb and three brothers: Prosper Soucy, George Soucy and Oliver Soucy. Della is survived by her 11 children: Edwin S. Kolb, Louis F. (Mary) Kolb, Michael J. (Felicia) Kolb, Robert D. (Jan) Kolb, Kathy L. (Leon) DeMond, Nancy J. (Ron) Kolb-Vitale, Debbie A. (Vance) Gray, Margie P. (Maury) Piot, Chuck T. (Lisa) Kolb, John O. (Judi) Kolb and Tim A. (Kim) Kolb, her 38 loving grandchildren: Butchie, Sheila, Amy, Zachary, Lindsay, Annie, Michele, Stephanie, Jonathan, Shawn, Christian, Ryan, Joey, Dusty, Becky, Kristin, Kelly, David, Leon, Jimmy, Benji, Ashley, Blaine, Kari, Jacob, Amanda, Bobby, Nathan, Luke, Nicki, Chuckie, John, Parker, Oliver, Simon, Katie, Kayla and Timmy. 18 loving great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Dorothy Keck and Marjorie Soucy and her special friend and caregiver Kim Robinson.

Della was a loving mother and home maker and a talented seamstress sewing for family and friends. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Centreville, IL., she was an active member in the Mother's Club at Immaculate Conception and she was a current member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL.,
