Interment: October 05, 2009 at Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery in Columbia, IL.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Ann Schneeberger, nee Cook and his parents: William & Anna, nee Hauser, Schneeberger. Robert is survived by his daughters: Joanne (Bruce)Counce of Columbia, IL. & Judy (Marvin) Doerr of Dupo, IL., his grandchildren: Julie (Scott) Rodemich of Columbia, IL., Robyn (Kevin) McCarty of Kildeer, IL., Jamie (Christopher) Wyse of Dayton, OH., & Kevin (Andrea) Doerr of Columbia, IL., his great grandchildren: Ryan & Allison Rodemich, Madison & Mackenzie McCarty, and Brylee Doerr, his sister: Jackie (Gene) Poettgen of Waterloo, IL., he is also survived nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & many friends.

A Legion of Honor walk through will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday followed by a Masonic Service.

Robert retired after 38 1/2 years from Monsanto Company in Sauget, IL. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the 64th Chemical Depot in Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL., he was a charter and life member of Sugarloaf Memorial VFW Post 6368 in Dupo, IL., Columbia Lodge 474 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite of Southern Illinois, Shriner's Ainad Temple, Legion of Honor, Uniform Unit, and Monsanto Local 12 Retiree Club.
