Visitation: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. October 25, 2009 at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 A.M. October 26, 2009 at St. Peter's Catholic Cathedral (200 W. Harrison St.) in Belleville, IL., with Fr. John Myler, officiating.
Interment: October 26, 2009 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO., with full military honors.

Mr. Nunning was preceded in death by his parents: Lemuel J. & Rosalie, nee Tiola, Nunning and his brother: Lemuel John "LJ" Nunning. He is survived by his wife: Ann, nee Curcuro, Nunning, his son: Brian Matthew Nunning & his daughter: Paula Ann Nunning.

Mr. Nunning was a United States Army Veteran.

Mr. Nunning worked for the Wabash Railroad and later retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer. He was a 50 year member of the Columbia Masonic Blue Lodge #474 A.F. & A.M. and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
