Carl was preceded in death by his wife: Marlene A. Mason, and his father: Angus Mason.
He is survived by his children: Rhonda Kay (Rick) Gray of Dupo, IL., Dawn Mason of St. Louis, MO., & Lisa (John) Link of Waterloo, IL., his grandchildren: Jason & Jeremy Gray & Payton Link, his great grandson: Joseph Gray, and his mother: Edith Mason, his sister: Patricia (Kent) Gardner, his nephew: Scott Gardner, and his niece: Stacey Gardner, he is also survived by other relatives & friends.

Carl retired as a warehouse supervisor for Super Valu. He was a member of the 1st Congregational Church in Dupo, IL.

Private burial will be at Lakeview Gardens of Memory in Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer Society.
