Funeral Service: 12 Noon December 07, 2009 at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Jackie Davidson
Interment: December 07, 2009 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO., with full military honors.

Charles was preceded in death by his step-father: Fred Huffman Jr. & his father-in-law: Roy Brandenburger. He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Deborah Brimm of Dupo, IL., his sons: Chad Brimm of Dupo, IL. & Douglas Brimm of Dupo, IL., his mother: Dorothy Huffman of Dupo, IL., his mother-in-law: Lorraine Brandenburger, his sister-in-law: Donna (Chuck) Kadlec, he is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends.

Charles was a United States Army Vietnam veteran.

Charles worked at Olin Corporation in East Alton as an Insulator. He was a member of the Columbia Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. #474, Scotish Rite, 32nd degree, Ainad Shrine, was an Ainad Shriner Clown, VFW Post 6368 in Dupo, IL., since 1969, past commander of the VFW Post 6368, past Department of Illinois Command 2002 - 2003, past National Council member 2003 - 2005, American Legion Post 485 in Dupo, IL., and Dupo Fire Department.

There will be a VFW service Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. followed by a Masonic Service.

Memorials may be made to VFW Operation Uplink.
