Walter was preceded in death by his parents: Robert L. & Norma J., nee Golden, Lucher and his brothers & sister: Dwayne Lucher, Carolyn Lucher, George Lucher & Richard Lucher.
He is survived by his brother: David (Lynn) Lucher of Anchorage, Alaska, his sisters: Delores (John) Hunter of Makanda, IL. & Marilyn (Neal) Vanzo of Crocker, MO., he is also survived by other relatives & friends.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Burial was held at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
