Visitation: 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. January 11, 2010 at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Flo was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph & Hedwig, nee Deniszczuk, Swiderski and her brothers: Joseph Swiderski Jr. & Richard Swiderski. Flo is survived by her loving husband: Norman “Snap” Smitt, her children: Nancy (Rich) Hayes, Joyce (Mark) Thielemann, Rick Thielemann, & Ron (Pat) Thielemann, hers step-daughter: Kim (Greg) Zweifel, her sister: Mary Ann (Donald) Thielemann, her sister-in-law: Kathy Swiderski, she is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Flo was an avid cook & former owner of Flo's Family Inn. She loved working in her flower garden. And was very excited about Mark McGuire coming to the St. Louis Cardinals.
