Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. February 13, 2010 at Union United Methodist Church (721 E. Main St.) in Belleville, IL., with Pastor Edward Weston, officiating.
Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. February 12, 2010 at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL.
She was preceded in death by her first husband: Thomas M. Spivey, her second husband: Donald W. Robinson, her parents: Arden W. and Iva, nee Riley, Eager, and her brothers: William R. and John A. Eager. She is survived by her son: Andrew A. (Lauren) Robinson, granddaughter: Kennedy A. Robinson, step-daughter: Renee (Roger) Rather, brother: James L. (Sue) Eager, brother-in-law: Kenneth S. (Sylvia) Robinson. She is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lynda has been a registered nurse since 1960 retiring from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. She has held positions as Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse, Head Nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing and Parish Nurse. She graduated from Memphis High School in Memphis, MO., in 1956, she attended North East Missouri State in Kirksville, MO., for one year and graduated from Barnes Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO., in 1960. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Belleville, IL., United Methodist Women, Retired Nurses Association of St. Clair County, Miriam Circle and Jubilation Ringers.

Private Inurnment will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Jubilation Bell Choir Fund or the building fund at the Union United Methodist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
