Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. March 16, 2010 at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. with Rev. Darris Kaufman, officiating.
Interment: March 16, 2010 at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.

Virgil was preceded in death by his wife: June Masters, his parents: Charles & Grace, nee Tanner, Masters, his sisters & brothers: Irene, Pete, Louise, Donnie, Kenny & Rayburn, his son: Jack Masters and his daughter: Sue Mullert. Virgil is survived by his daughters: Linda (Kevin) Stoll of Dupo, IL. & Rhonda (David) Smith of Lebanon, IL., his step-sons: Paul (Linda) Kaufman of Warrenville, IL. & Darris (Donna) Kaufman of Dupo, IL., his daughter-in-law: Pat Masters of Murphysboro, IL., his sister: Mildred Foster of Elkville, IL., his sister-in-law: Verna Masters of Cahokia, IL., he is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, other relatives & friends.

Virgil was a United States Navy veteran.

Virgil retired after 40 years as an Engineer from the MOPAC Railroad. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Jonesboro, IL., Scotish Rite in Belleville, IL. & the American Legion Post 485 in Dupo, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home in Anna, IL.
