Buck was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Ann Range and his parents: Henry Joseph & Mae Goldie, nee Adkins, Range, his brothers: Henry Eugene "Bud" Range, Barney Donald Range and Lloyd "Sonny" Range, his sister: Bernice Louise "Betty" Petty.
Buck is survived by his children: Carole (Rex) Hancock of Columbia, IL. & Debbie (Terry) Aldridge of Dupo, IL., his grandchildren: Heather (Kip) Quevreaux, Christopher Anthony Hancock, Courtney Aldridge, Brandon Aldridge & Brett Aldridge, great grandson: Dane Quevreaux, his sister: Marcella Rita Reeg, he is also survived by other relatives & friends.

Buck was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Clair County Farm Bureau, former board member of the Dupo School District and former trustee for the Village of East Carondelet.
