Curtis was preceded in death by his parents: Curtis & Katherine, nee Russell, Elliot.
He is survived by his wife: Laura Elliot, nee King, whom he married September 18, 2010, his daughter: Liz (Mike) Brees of Columbia, IL., his grandson: Adam Brees of Columbia, IL., he is also survived by other relatives & friends.

He was a United States Navy veteran.
