She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl P. Gummersheimer, her parents: Edward & Dena Klocke, her father-in-law & mother-in-law: Charles & Lulu Gummersheimer, and her brothers: Allen Klocke & Donald Klocke.
She is survived by her children: Robert C. (Karen) Gummersheimer of Fenton, MO., Cheryl (Richard) Kaufman of Dupo, IL. & Michael C. (Bruce Johnson) Gummersheimer, her grandchildren: Kevin (Melissa) Kaufman, Derrek Gummersheimer & Courtney Gummersheimer, her brother: Herbert (Jen) Klocke of Moro, IL., she is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends.

Mrs. Gummersheimer was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL., VFW Post 6368 Ladies Auxiliary in Dupo, IL. & she was a Girl Scout leader. She retired as the Manager at Dairy Queen in Kirkwood, MO. She also had worked for Dupo School District in East Carondelet & Dupo, IL.
