Hilda was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Joe Pfeffer, her son: Donald Pfeffer, her parents: John and Mary, nee Mosbacher, Brellinger, her sisters: Stella Reichert, Alida Kern, Amelia Brellinger and Ella Ebersohl and her brother: Clarence Brellinger.
She is survived by her children: Carolyn (Lawrence) Patterson of Millstadt, IL., Raymond (Pam) Pfeffer of Millstadt, IL., Wayne (Pamela) Pfeffer of Smithton, IL., and Glenn (Melody) Pfeffer of Columbia, IL., daughter-in-law: Betty Pfeffer of Millstadt, IL., sister: Florence Martin of Dupo, IL., several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Hilda was a home maker and a life member of the Bluff Grange.
