She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles & Etta, nee Guido, Matt, her sister: Bernice Lovatto, her brother: John Grothaus and her niece: Mary Lovatto-Neal.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Edward Lauko, her daughter: Mary Kay (Guy) Germaine of Belleville, IL. & Dominic (Lynn) Lauko of Millstadt, IL., her grandchildren: Charles (Kelly Gannon) Germaine, Kasey Germaine, Andrew Lauko, Amanda Lauko, & Nichole Lauko, her sister: Annette (Earl) High of Salem, IL., her sister-in-law: Juanita Grothaus of Greenville, IL., she is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary worked for Durham School Service as an Attendant and she also worked a long time at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis. She was a member of the American Legion Post 691 Ladies Auxiliary in Fairmont City, she was a long time member of Washington Park Fireman's Auxiliary, and she loved to bake and decorate cakes. |
