He was preceded in death by his parents: Howard & Irene, nee Speichinger, Hamann and his brother: Jerry Hamann.
He is survived by his wife: Rosemarie, nee Strecker, Hamann, his daughter: Julie Ann (Bradley) Gaffney, his sons: Jeffrey Scott (Hannah) Hamann & Michael Lacy (Laura) Hamann, his step-son: Kevin Allen (Jaime) Dill, his grandchildren: Reis Alexander Gaffney, Logan Thomas Gaffney, Hannah Rebecca Hamann, Blake Thomas Hamann, Seth Thomas Hamann, Paige Elise Dill & Macie Lynn Dill, he is also survived by other relatives & friends.

After the services, cremation will take place.

Following the services on Saturday everyone is invited to join the family for a luncheon and time of fellowship at the Millstadt Senior Center (102 S. Jefferson).

Denny started right out of high school in the sign trade. He started Denny Hamann signs in 1973. He was a member of M.U.S.I.C. dance club & was one of the D.J.’s.

Denny's family request no flowers to be sent, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Belleville Humane Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
